Listing Paper | Computer Paper | Dot Matrix Paper | Continuous paper Within this section of our website you will be able to find a whole selection of cheap continuous paper. There are several names for this type of paper and it may also be referred to as listing paper or dot matrix paper or continuous feed paper or even computer paper. Any one of these names is the name given to a continuous feed of paper that flows through a dot matrix printer making it ideal for continuous paper printing. Although computer listing paper is a continuous sheet of paper it has perforations at regular intervals allowing you to tear of a particular sized sheet. This is where you need to decide what size of computer paper you require. Computer listing paper sizes Computer paper is measured by the depth of the sheet which is the distance from the top of the page perforation to the bottom perforation. This measurement is most commonly referred to in inches. The standard sizes of listing paper available from AOS Online are: The next measurement required when choosing your computer paper is its width. Tis measurement is taken from edge to edge including the sprocket margin holes that run along both edges of the computer paper. This measurement is most commonly referred to in millimetres. - 216mm or 8.5
- 235mm or 9.25 (this makes an A4 sized sheet)
- 241mm or 9.5
- 370mm or 14.25
- 389mm or 15.3
Types of continuous paper As we have already mentioned, computer paper has a sprocket margin down both sides. These are available in a variety of types so its something you need to consider when choosing the computer paper you require. - Micro all round or Micro Perforated This gives a nice clean edge once the sprocket edge is removed
- Unperforated The sprocket edges are not perforated making them impossible to remove
- Long cut or standard perforated Easy and quick removal of the sprocket edge
- Music ruled listing paper The paper has horizontal light shaded lines visible making it easier to read and distinguish between the text lines you print.
- Plain listing paper This is plain sheet paper with not shaded lines
How many parts of continuous paper do you require? Continuous paper is available in 1 to 4 parts which is how many sheets of paper are bound together on top of each other. This enables you to make more than one copy at a time as the continuous paper runs through your dot matrix printer. - 1 part dot matrix paper 1 single sheet of paper
- 2 part dot matrix paper 2 sheets of paper which are normally different colours. This is common when printing invoices or delivery notes as it gives you 1 copy sheet.
- 3 part dot matrix paper This will give you 2 copy sheets and again all 3 sheets are normally different colours. E.g. white/yellow/pink
- 4 part dot matrix paper This will give you 3 copy sheets and again all 3 sheets are normally different colours. E.g. white/yellow/pink/green
